The room is good-sized with comfortable beds, iron, as example. The staff are amicable and fairly friendly, we really enjoyed them. The hotel provides a marvellous and lovely breakfast with lovely homemade touches like the yoghurt and granola, as example.

Liked this hotel, had 1 nice sunny days here. The property was right by the garden with the view as well as good local pubs thanks to its quiet location. Furthermore, to most places.

hot tub, spacious suite, good scenery
One hot tub for the entire hotel feels limiting!!! A fridge in the kitchen would elevate the experience significantly.

The breakfast served was out of this world. I had this haloumi and avocado with fried egg on toasted sourdough that just blew my mind. And the staff? They're warm and cute.
Okay, it wasn't the cheapest stay around, but honestly, worth it.

For a peaceful stay, consider requesting a room away from the garden lights, which can be quite bright at night.

The Foxes Den offered an really good experience. I loved the hot tub, conveniently located in the private garden. The apartment felt spacious and was everything was super clean. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a gourmet touch that exceeded my expectations. I sampled a delicious haloumi and avocado dish that left a lasting impression. The staff were genuinely friendly. The bathroom could use a grab rail for safety, as it would be reassuring, especially for those who may need extra support. Everything was good, with just that one minor inconvenience.

Just a solid selection for a weekend escape in Assington with definitely value for money. The breakfast we had was very good. Try to ask for a room with a better TV setup.
